  22. *was generated in LW by rendering the actual visual out the cockpit as a 
  23. *wireframe, then converting to 2 color (yellow and black) and using as an 
  24. *image sequence as the animation is rerendered perhaps with the 
  25. *prerendered 24-bit iffs as a backdrop as well and just rendering the new 
  26. *cockpit (most of the cockpit might be a foreground image?  If someone 
  27. *could confirm or deny my suspicions, I am curious.

  29. I don't work on the show but I would say that they when a wireframe is 
  30. render its already two colors... when you're inside cockpit look out, the 
  31. cockpit is real using ultimatte technology to throw in front of the space 
  32. or action background... using ADO the wirfram animation could be scaled 
  33. and turned in any form to fit on the radar screen...
